The two-day course is aimed at police officers with little or no knowledge of tactical emergency medicine. The course provides a tactical pre-hospital trauma care philosophy, stressing the need to treat the multi-system trauma patient as a unique entity with specific needs. This may require an approach to the trauma patient that varies from traditional treatment modalities. The content of this course is based on the experience of numerous military and police first responders earned the hard way in hostile environments around the world, where the traditional approach to pre-hospital trauma patients does not work.

Der zweitägige Kurs vermittelt Basiswissen für eine taktische Verwundeten Versorgung, um im Notfall lebenserhaltende medizinische Erstmaßnahmen für Verletzte mit multiplen Traumata treffen zu können. Es wird ein ganzheitlicher Versorgungsansatz vermittelt, der sich von klassischen Ansätzen der Erstversorgung unterscheiden kann. Die Kursinhalte basieren auf den Erfahrungen von Ersthelfern des Militärs und der Polizei, die ihre Erfahrungen bei Einsätzen in Krisengebieten in der ganzen Welt gesammelt haben.
